Microsoft's "Trustworthy Computing" initiative is touted as their attempt to provide a "safe and reliable computing experience." This involves changes in security, privacy, and reliability. While on the surface it only appears advantagous to customers, it's also a business policy which will bring much more control to Microsoft and intellectual property owners such as the music and movie industries.
